How we enforce
We use technology and our review team to find content and conduct that breaks our policies. Honest mistakes get a warning and a chance to fix things. Repeat violations lead to tighter limits, one step at a time.
1 strike
Warning
We remove the content and tell you which policy it broke. No limits yet.
2 strikes
Feature limits
For 7 days you cannot post stories, offers or ads, or message new shoppers.
3 strikes
Recommendation limits
For 14 days your brand page and listings are left out of home, Explore and boosted search.
4 strikes
Listing suspension
Affected listings or a whole category are taken down for 30 days.
5 strikes
Payout hold
Payouts are held for up to 90 days to cover refunds and claims while we review the account.
6 strikes
Account suspension
The account and its stores are disabled. Severe violations skip straight to this step.
Strikes expire after 90 days. The account moves back down the ladder and limits lift.
Severe violations skip the ladder. Counterfeits, child safety and fraud mean immediate suspension.
