About Yamunaa
Yamunaa.com is a worldwide online marketplace run by Svayam Incarnation Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Products are sold by independent stores, makers and brands, and each seller is named on every product with their address and tax registration number. Yamunaa acts as an online marketplace and intermediary, and the contract for sale is between you and the seller.
The laws we follow
We follow the consumer, e-commerce, tax and data protection laws of each country we serve. Examples include the UK Consumer Rights Act and UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and Consumer Rights Directive, US state privacy laws like the CCPA, and India’s Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and DPDP Act. Where a local law gives you more rights than these terms or our policies, the local law wins.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or older if your country sets a higher age, and able to enter a binding contract under the law of your country.
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your device and codes private.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- One person, one shopper account. Details must be true and up to date.
Orders, prices and payment
- An order is an offer to buy from a seller. It is accepted when the seller confirms or dispatches it.
- Prices are shown in your local currency, based on your delivery country. Taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax are included or shown at checkout as your country requires. Delivery, handling, customs duties on cross border orders and other charges are shown before you pay.
- If a price is clearly wrong, the seller or Yamunaa may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- Payments are processed by licensed payment partners regulated in each country.
Delivery, returns and refunds
Delivery estimates, return windows and refunds follow the Shipping and delivery and Returns and refunds policies. Report problems with quick orders within 48 hours. Marketplace return windows are shown on each product. Timelines can vary by country.
Your content
- You keep ownership of the reviews, photos, stories and posts you share.
- You give Yamunaa a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to host, show, adapt and share that content on Yamunaa and in Yamunaa promotions, for as long as it is on Yamunaa.
- Your content must follow the Community Standards. We may remove content that does not.
What you agree not to do
- Break any law or any policy in the Policy Centre.
- Scrape, copy or harvest data from Yamunaa, or use bots without our written permission.
- Interfere with the security or working of Yamunaa, or try to access accounts that are not yours.
- Use Yamunaa to send spam or to take sales off the platform.
Our role and liability
We work hard to keep Yamunaa safe and reliable, but sellers are responsible for their products and listings. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country, such as the UK Consumer Rights Act, EU consumer law or India’s Consumer Protection Act.
Suspension and closing your account
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or our policies, as explained in Enforcement and strikes. You can close your account at any time from Account settings. Orders in progress will be completed or refunded.
Changes, law and disputes
- We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes at least 15 days before they apply.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
- Please contact us or our grievance team first. If we cannot resolve a dispute, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in, or use a local consumer body or dispute resolution scheme.
